BOM Planner-A 3D CAD Integrated Manufacturing Execution System
BOM Planner is a concept of ‘PAPERLESS MANUFACTURING’. It is basically a 3D CAD Integrated Manufacturing Execution System. Here we rather than printing excel documents we upload our Designs in SQL Database with complete Design Tree with complete parent child relationship. With BOM Planner Design HODs can assign the uploaded project to different users and set a deadline for the release of drawings. The respective Design Engineer shall receive a notification for the same. And a reminder for release as they reach close to the project deadline. Design Engineers can now release drawings from BOM Planner & add number of set required for the particular project. While we release the drawings we can create a QR Code on the drawings & save pdf of all the files in custom location or a centralized location in Server. This QR code is normally a combination of Part Number, Description/Item Name & Material. Also customizable as per the industry requirements. Once the drawings are released the departments like Production, Quality, Purchase, Store etc. can view the complete set of information from our BOM Planner Dashboard. Further to this now Design Engineers can create a new project or a new BOM using BOM Planner using the Standard Data or an already executed project or any currently open document. So say No to hassle between different departments for manufacturing drawing and BOMs !!!
